Welcome to Admissions

Keneni Stars Academy welcomes learners from all backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Admission is open to both boys and girls, and the school follows a structured enrollment process to ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed.

Requirements

General Requirements

All prospective learners must meet the following general requirements:

  1. Complete and submit an official admission application form
  2. Provide a certified copy of the child's birth certificate
  3. Submit a recent passport-size photograph
  4. For learners transferring from other schools, a transfer letter from the previous institution is required

Kindergarten (Pre-Primary)

Age Requirement:

Children must be at least 4 years old by the start of the academic year.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Completion of a kindergarten admission form

  2. Parent/guardian interview with the School Administrator

  3. A brief assessment to understand the child's developmental readiness

  4. Immunization record as required by the Ministry of Health

Our kindergarten program provides a strong foundation for young learners in a safe, playful, and engaging environment.

Lower Primary (Grades 1–3)

Age Requirement:

Children entering Grade 1 should be 6 years old by the start of the academic year.

Additional Requirements:

  1. For children moving from Kindergarten to Grade 1, a progress report from the previous school (if applicable)

  2. For learners transferring from other schools, an official transfer letter and academic records from the previous school

  3. A brief placement assessment to ensure appropriate placement

Lower primary focuses on building foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development within CBC.

Upper Primary (Grades 4–6)

Age Requirement:

Learners should be placed based on their academic progression and age.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Official transfer letter from the previous school

  2. Academic records/report cards from the previous two terms

  3. A placement assessment to determine appropriate grade level and support needs

  4. Parent/guardian meeting with the School Administrator

Upper primary prepares learners for greater academic independence, critical thinking, and mastery of core subjects under the CBC.
